Spellcheck only catches words that do not exist. It misses “manger” where you meant “manager”, “form” where you meant “from”, or a client’s name spelled two ways in one letter. Phones add to the problem by changing names they do not know, such as Igbo names and towns like Nnewi or Amawbia, into ordinary words. A second reader catches what the writer’s eyes skip.
Proofreading is the last step, done once the content is final, because every late change can bring in a new error. Editing comes earlier and goes deeper. If your text is still handwritten, our document typing service comes first. We keep your meaning, facts and voice, and ask about anything we are unsure of instead of guessing. You are the writer, so you keep the final say, and your document stays confidential.
