Flex Banner & Signage Design in Awka & Across Nigeria

A banner is read in passing, by people who are walking or driving past. We design flex banners, roll-ups, billboards and shop signs around a few big words readable from that distance.

02Overview

Designed for the distance people actually read it from

A banner is not a flyer made bigger. People see it from across a road, from a moving vehicle or from the back of a hall, so there is time for only a few words: your business name, your main offer and a phone number. The usual mistakes are too much text, thin or decorative lettering, weak contrast and a phone number too small to read.

Artwork also has to survive being printed large. A photo that looks sharp on a phone can turn soft and blocky at banner size, especially if it was forwarded through WhatsApp and compressed on the way. We check image quality against the print size and tell you if a photo will not hold up. Every printer has its own requirements, so send us the size and instructions first and we will build the artwork to match.

04How it works

From your brief to final files

  1. Tell us where it will be used

Share where it will go, how far away people will see it and the exact size from your printer.

  2. We design for the distance

We build the layout around one clear message, readable lettering and strong contrast, using your logo and colours.

  3. You review and we adjust

Check the spelling, phone numbers and layout, then send your corrections and we will revise the artwork.

  4. Receive print-ready artwork

We send the artwork set up for your printer. If the printer asks for changes, forward their message and we will adjust it.

Awka & Anambra State

Banner and signage design in Awka and Anambra State

Shop fronts along busy roads in Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi compete with many other signs, and flex banners announce everything from shop openings to church programmes. A sign read from a passing keke or car needs far fewer words than one read at a counter, and that is the distance we design for.

FAQ

Banner, Flex & Signage Design: your questions answered

Still have a question? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer it.

01What size should my flex banner be?

That depends on where it will hang and what your printer can produce, so we do not guess. Send us the exact width and height your printer or sign maker gives you and we will design to it.

02Why does my banner look blurry when printed?

Usually the photo was too small for the print size, or compressed when forwarded on WhatsApp. Send original files and the print size, and we will warn you early if an image will not hold up.

03How much text should a banner have?

As little as will do the job: your name, one main message and a contact. If people cannot read it in a glance, there is too much. Details can go on a flyer or your social pages.

04Do I need approval to put up a billboard or signboard?

Rules depend on the location, the landlord and the relevant authority, and arranging any approval is your responsibility. We design the artwork to the specifications you are given.

05Can you design a roll-up banner for an exhibition?

Yes. Roll-ups are tall and narrow, so we keep the logo and key message in the upper part and use little small print. Your printer will confirm the size and finishing details.
