Small problems add up over a long course: a pace that changes between modules, a term said two different ways, a slide read out word for word. The last is the most common. People read faster than anyone speaks, so a bullet read aloud adds nothing. Put the key words on the slide and let the narration explain them.
For a series, we plan the voice before the first recording: tone, pace and a pronunciation list for technical terms, abbreviations and names. We keep those notes for every later section, so a module added after a break is planned to sound like the earlier ones. If lessons are also being assembled as videos, see video editing.
