02Overview

A label has two jobs: get noticed and carry the facts

A label has to do two jobs. First it must tell the customer what the product is, so the brand name, product name and flavour or type need to stand out. Second it must carry the facts: ingredients, quantity, directions, manufacturer details and contact numbers. We arrange the order so the first job happens at a glance and the second stays neat and readable at small sizes.

The information on a label is your responsibility. You tell us what must appear, and you remain responsible for meeting the rules that apply to your product, including registration with the relevant authority, for example NAFDAC where it applies. We design with the information you supply and cannot confirm approvals. Label size depends on the container, so send us the label area measurements or the printer’s template before we begin. If the logo on your product also needs work, see logo design.

03What is included

What our packaging and label design includes

  1. Product labels

Front and back labels for bottles, jars, tubs and similar containers, designed to fit the label area you give us.

  2. Boxes and carton packs

Artwork for boxes and cartons, laid out panel by panel from your printer’s template or measurements.

  3. Information layout

The product name, ingredients, directions and contact details you supply, arranged in a clear, readable order.

  4. Flavour and size variants

A shared layout for a range of flavours, scents or sizes, with colour coding so buyers can tell variants apart.

  5. Space for required details

Room for registration numbers, batch and expiry details, barcodes and symbols. You supply them and stay responsible for their accuracy.

  6. Label redesign

A cleaner layout for an old, crowded or dated label, keeping what regular customers already recognise.

04How it works

From your brief to final files

  1. Send the container and information

Send the label size or container details and all the text that must appear, typed out and checked by you.

  2. We plan the hierarchy

We decide what the customer should see first, arrange the rest in a clear order, then design the label.

  3. You check every detail

Check names, quantities, contact details and required information carefully. Accuracy is your responsibility, and we revise the design with you.

  4. Receive artwork for your printer

We send artwork prepared to your label printer’s size and instructions, and adjust it if the printer requests changes.

FAQ

Packaging & Product Label Design: your questions answered

Still have a question? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer it.

01What must be on a product label in Nigeria?

It depends on your product and the rules that apply, so we cannot list it for you. Check with the relevant authority, such as NAFDAC where it applies, and send us the exact text. We design around what you supply.

02Do you handle NAFDAC registration?

No. Registration and approvals are your responsibility. We design the label with the information you give us and can leave space for registration numbers once you have them.

03Should I choose my container before the label is designed?

Yes, if you can. The label has to fit the container, so a change of bottle or jar usually means changed artwork. If you are still deciding, tell us the options.

04Can one design cover several flavours or sizes?

Yes. We build a shared layout and change the colour, name and details for each variant, so the range looks like a family and buyers can tell the flavours apart.

05Will a label redesign confuse my regular customers?

It need not. We can keep familiar elements, such as the name position, a main colour or a recognisable shape, while fixing crowded text, so regular buyers still spot your product.
